The collection will be made available online soon.
Born in 1975 in Istanbul, the artist studied interior design and visual communication design, fields in which he currently teaches as a part-time faculty member at various universities. His work primarily revolves around design, photography, and archival practices at the urban and spatial scales. Through photography and archives, he investigates the traces of modernist design in collective memory. By combining technical and promotional imagery of space with personal memory photographs, he constructs multi-layered narratives. His photographic archive contains images produced between 1930 and 1990, documenting various residential and working spaces across Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir.
